Smart Fortwo cute, but looks aren't everything

The Smart Fortwo, a four-wheeled flea built by Smart -- a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler -- will be imported to the United States in the first quarter of 2008. Measuring 106.1 inches long and weighing just under 1,650 pounds, the Fortwo soon will be, by an astonishing margin, the smallest gas-powered car on the market: nearly 40 inches shorter than the BMW Mini, a whopping four feet shorter than the Scion xA. Mercedes working on small roadster for 2011?




Mercedes-Benz will be using the same platform they used in the 2008 C-Class sedan for the next generation A-Class and B-Class, which means both will have rear-wheel-drive, higher performance and a more sporty chassis. Ovals are out on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class



When we first spotted prototypes of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, it was pretty obvious the midsize sedan hasn't changed much. Even with heavy camouflage, its overall size and shape tell us that it barely differs from the current model.
