This year marks the 25th anniversary of the original Mercedes-Benz 190, a little car that led to some big changes, not only in Stuttgart, but across the entire automotive industry.

Daimler: no plans to manufacture trucks in India

MUMBAI, June 8 (Reuters) - A DaimlerChrysler spokesman said there were no plans for the company to manufacture trucks in India after a newspaper reported it would begin assembling trucks in the country in early 2008.
The Mint reported that DaimlerChrysler, which now imports Actros trucks, would begin assembling some models from imported kits next year, citing people familiar with the plans.Click here to continue
